Waiting for the sun Packshot

Art is the start.

Waiting For The Sun has created one-of-a kind packaging with the objective to reduce waste while distributing modern, original artistic creations. It is a blank page we offer; it is a white wall we give to those artists we admire and whose artwork goes straight to our hearts.

The 2041 program is a partnership allowing artists and designers, in a renewable way, to invest in our brand by proposing a 2041 cm2 scarf to protect your glasses during transport and storage at the shop.
This scarf is our Arts Gallery, we’re proud of it and as all curators, we love to show an international renowed artist as much as an emergent one we trust in.

The /2041 scarf of your sunglasses is randomly added in the packaging and probably different than the photo of selected product.

In a world where we are constantly bombarded with artificial images, Viktor Vauthier's photography is a breath of Fresh air. Born in south of France and raised in London, is incorrigible, he's in constant motion, working several cons at once. Using a 35mm camera, no airbrushing or elaborate lighting, Vauthier's images are voyeuristic and addictive.

Bunny and Claude concept was borned in february 09 in Amsterdam. A couple of artists decided during a trip there to create their creative vandale image.
The way they are working is pretty easy: They first rent a room in any accomodation, then take back home one of the ""arts"" on the wall. Those artworks are collecting and put together in their private collection. they replace this stolen artwork by another one they are making in the room.
They are working on a world tour guide to know exactly where their work could be seen and are going to publish that.

Back

Illustrator, graphic designer, author of children's books, event organizer, a bookseller, publisher, gallerist, Fabrice Houdry ... is a sort of jack of all trades, handyman of the drawing. His design is constantly evolving to suit its desires and its multiple inspirations. His simple and pure style  oscillates between graphic design and illustration, with  always some positivity mood. Fabrice creates images or balanced geometric forms, minimalist lines and characters. These characters add life to his compositions often close to abstraction. In his images the emptyness is important. He likes to leave lots of blank spaces. A sense of calm, serenity emerges in the end of his compositions. A world clean and fun, formalistic and joyful.
